Pfizer Limited has announced the discontinuation of the marketing, distribution, and sale of Minipress XL in India, effective September 7, 2026.

This decision, approved by the company's Board of Directors during a meeting held on the same day, follows a directive by Pfizer Inc. USA to cease the global manufacturing of the product.

In connection with this discontinuation, Pfizer Limited will receive a lump sum payment of US$ 13.9 Million (approx. Rs. 131.38 crore) from Pfizer Inc. USA.
