Connecting innovators in the pharmaceutical industry and contributing to further development of ongoing pharmaceutical trends were the main directions of PHARMAP 2022. The Congress gathered pharmaceutical companies, CMOs and CDMOs, governmental bodies together with pharmaceutical equipment providers and service companies to exchange experience in digital transformation and discuss innovative solutions and business practices. The Congress was held on June, 20-21, 2022 in Berlin, Germany.
The two-day business program included not only successful networking and interaction between representatives of the pharmaceutical industry, but also panel discussions, sessions, and roundtables related to cutting-edge topics of industry. Pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging experts from Sandoz, Merck, Novartis, Roche, Samsung Biologics, Pfizer, and other majors presented more than 45 case studies, and their technologies and services.
The first day of PHARMAP 2022 started with the executive opening panel that comprised presentations of leading pharmaceutical providers. Then the agenda comprised a panel discussion, a roundtable and sessions about pharmaceutical anti-counterfeiting and brand protection, innovations in pharmaceutical packaging, transforming pharmaceuticals with robotic solutions and AI and others.
The second day of the Congress embraced topics of advanced data for smart manufacturing, converting to a “batch-less” world with continuous manufacturing, supply chain optimization in pharmaceuticals, and others. The closing panel of the PHARMAP 2022 was concluded with speakers from Novartis, Sanofi, and Phillips Therapeutics discussing how to increase the flexibility and reliability of the supply chain in new realities.
The registration for the next edition of the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Packaging Congress 2023 is already open. The Congress will take place in June, 12-13, Switzerland.
