RPG Life Sciences Ltd. reported a strong start to FY27, posting a 15.8% year-on-year increase in revenue from operations to Rs. 195.7 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. 

EBITDA rose 17.9% to Rs. 48 crore, while the EBITDA margin improved by 40 basis points to 24.5%, reflecting continued operational efficiency despite a challenging business environment.

The company's Domestic Formulations business remained the key growth driver, recording 14.8% growth, ahead of the 11.6% growth registered by the Indian pharmaceutical market during the quarter. 

Supported by focused therapy expansion, new product launches and improved field-force productivity, RPG Life Sciences also entered the Top 50 Indian pharmaceutical companies by market ranking in June 2026.

The International Formulations business grew 7.7%, while the API segment registered a robust 35.6% growth, aided by the resumption of operations at its manufacturing unit.

Ashok Nair, Managing Director of RPG Life Sciences, said the company has started FY27 on a strong note, continuing its market-beating growth trajectory. He noted that the domestic formulations business outperformed the industry, enabling the company to achieve the milestone of entering the Top 50 ranking in the Indian pharmaceutical market. 

Looking ahead, Nair said the company will focus on expanding its international footprint through new markets and customer acquisitions while scaling up its API business to drive the next phase of growth. He added that RPG Life Sciences remains confident of sustaining its long-term growth momentum, backed by a strong balance sheet, healthy profitability and continued investments in talent.

During the quarter, the company also reported 16% growth for its flagship Naprosyn brand, alongside double-digit growth across key therapy segments including nephrology and rheumatology. 

It was recognised as the 'Top Nephrology Company – 2026' by India Pharma Outlook, received the 'Best Use of AI in Sales Force Effectiveness'award from Bluetech Media, and was honoured with the 'Excellence in Breakthrough Pharmaceutical Innovations'award by Network 7 Media.
