ZEISS India strengthens portfolio with the launch of ZEISS ClearMind lenses

Developed for today’s fast-paced, visually demanding lifestyles, the lenses are built on ZEISS NeurOptix technology

ZEISS has launched its latest prescription lens innovation, ZEISS ClearMind lenses, in India, further strengthening its premium vision care portfolio with an all-day lens solution.

These lenses are designed to deliver sharper vision while reducing the cognitive load caused by blur.

Developed for today’s fast-paced, visually demanding lifestyles, the lenses are built on ZEISS NeurOptix technology, which aligns lens clarity zones with natural eye-movement patterns to reduce optical errors, expand clear vision zones and minimise peripheral blur. This helps wearers experience more relaxed, effortless vision and improved comfort during long hours of digital and dynamic visual activity.

The ZEISS ClearMind portfolio includes single vision, digital and progressive lenses, making it suitable for a wide range of age groups and visual needs—from younger users with near or distance blur to adults experiencing digital eye strain and presbyopia. The progressive version delivers up to 41% larger near-vision zones compared with ZEISS SmartLife progressive lenses, while the overall design supports smooth transitions across viewing distances and faster adaptation.

Backed by research from the ZEISS Vision Science Lab at Tübingen University, Germany, the technology establishes a direct link between lens-induced blur and increased cognitive load. In consumer studies, 96% of wearers reported extremely clear vision, and 9 out of 10 users experienced reduced cognitive load in blind tests compared with standard ZEISS progressive lenses. The lenses also demonstrated quick wearer adaptation, with 88% adjusting within a few days and more than half within just one hour, reinforcing their promise of immediate comfort and long-term visual well-being.

Commenting on the launch, Rohan Paul, Business Head – India & Neighboring Markets, Vision Care, ZEISS India, said the introduction of ClearMind reflects the company’s continued focus on advanced, personalised eye care solutions that enhance visual performance, comfort and overall quality of life.
