Lupin has appointed Bijender Vats as Senior Vice President & Head – Human Resources. He brings more than 20 years of experience in human resources leadership across the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries.

An alumnus of Maharshi Dayanand University and the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, Vats joins Lupin from FMC Corporation, where he served as HR Head – India & South West Asia, leading the company's regional people strategy.

Before joining FMC Corporation, he was Group Chief Human Resources Officer at Crystal Crop Protection Limited. He also spent more than 17 years at MSD, holding several leadership positions, including Director – HR & DE&I Lead, Director – Human Resources, Associate Director – Human Resources, and Human Resources Business Partner.

Earlier in his career, Vats worked as Regional Manager at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories. Over the years, he has developed expertise in talent management, HR transformation, organisational development, diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I), and strategic people leadership.
