Botanic Healthcare has appointed Kamalakar V. Arcot as Group Chief Executive Officer, a strategic leadership move aimed at accelerating the company’s global expansion ambitions in the nutraceutical and bioactives segment.

A seasoned executive with more than two decades of experience across the global pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors, Arcot brings deep expertise in scaling businesses across both regulated and emerging markets. In his new role, he will steer Botanic Healthcare’s long-term strategic vision, drive international growth, and strengthen operational excellence across key geographies.

His experience spans North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East, with a strong track record of managing complex P&L responsibilities and leading growth across the full pharmaceutical value chain—from strategic portfolio development and intellectual property management to supply chain optimisation and large-scale commercial execution.
