Dr. Pramod Sharma has been elevated to Assistant General Manager at Ami Lifesciences Pvt. Ltd., marking a significant progression in his career spanning research, process chemistry and technology development in the pharmaceutical industry.

Sharma brings expertise in multi-step organic synthesis, process development, technology transfer, scale-up and process optimisation, with experience in translating complex chemistry into commercially viable manufacturing processes. 

In his expanded role, he is expected to contribute to research-driven innovation, operational excellence and the continued growth of Ami Lifesciences.

Before his elevation, Sharma held several senior R&D positions across the pharmaceutical industry. At Ami Lifesciences, he served as Senior Manager – Steroids and Hormone Chemistry, Process Chemistry Research & Development. 

He has also worked as Senior Manager – Research & Development at SCL Lifesciences, R&D Manager at Ipca Laboratories, Senior Research Scientist at Naari Pharma and Wockhardt, and Visiting Researcher at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

His career reflects extensive experience across process R&D, project management, technology development and specialised organic synthesis, strengthening his profile in pharmaceutical process chemistry and manufacturing.
