Eli Lilly and Company has appointed Dr. Vivek Jha as Senior Director – Commercial Strategy, AI & Transformation within the Global Commercialization Capabilities and Innovation organization.

In this role, he will be leading the design and execution of transformative strategies that harness the power of AI and automation, drive process optimization, and ignite digital innovation.

Dr. Jha brings close to two decades of experience in pharma R&D and strategic leadership to Lilly’s global vision.

Previously, Dr. Jha spent close to 13 years at Novartis, where he led the Strategy and Operations group for Global Drug Development in India, driving organizational strategy, governance, and Operational Excellence for a 2,800-member hub.

Dr. Jha has earned numerous accolades, including Strategy Leader of the Year 2021, the Top 50 Pharma Leaders Award 2019, and several other honours celebrating his strategic vision and innovative leadership, underscoring his impact at the intersection of strategy, digital innovation, and healthcare transformation.
