Granules India Limited announced on Friday that its Joint Managing Director and CEO, Dr. Kandiraju Venkata Sitaram Rao, has tendered his resignation. He will step down from his position and cease to be a Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) of the company effective from the close of business hours on July 31, 2025. 

Dr. Rao has over 29 years of experience in manufacturing, R&D, business operations, and customer service. He served as Executive Director & CEO of the CSM business at PI Industries and held leadership roles at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories from 2000 to 2018. He has also worked with Jubilant Life Sciences and Gujarat Heavy Chemicals Ltd. 

Dr. Rao holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Osmania University and a master’s and Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
