Manoj Joshi assumes charge of pharma secretary

Before this appointment, he served as the Secretary in the Department of Land Resources, Ministry of Rural Development

Manoj Joshi, a 1989-batch officer from the Kerala cadre, officially assumed charge as the Secretary of the Department of Pharmaceuticals (DoP) under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers on January 1, 2026.

Before this appointment, he served as the Secretary in the Department of Land Resources, Ministry of Rural Development.

He is an engineer with post-graduate qualifications in management and finance.
