Dr. Rishubh Gupta has been appointed as Head of Subregion Africa at Roche Diagnostics, effective August 1, 2026.

Based in Nairobi, Kenya, he will also join the EMEA-LATAM Leadership Team, building on his successful tenure as Managing Director of Roche Diagnostics India and Neighboring Markets. 

In his new role, Dr. Gupta will lead the company's growth strategy across Africa, strengthen healthcare partnerships, and expand access to innovative diagnostic solutions.

Before joining Roche, Dr. Gupta held several senior leadership positions at Baxter International, including General Manager and Cluster Head for Malaysia, India and Singapore, and Managing Director – India. 

He has also worked with Quest Diagnostics, Abbott Healthcare India, and Prima Clinics, gaining extensive experience in diagnostics, healthcare, commercial strategy, marketing, and business leadership. 

With his strong international track record, he is well positioned to drive Roche Diagnostics' strategic priorities and accelerate its presence across the African region.
