In his new role as Managing Director India and Global Head, Partnerships and Innovative Finance, Singh will oversee the financial, human, and operational functions of the India office

L.M. Singh has been appointed as the Managing Director, India and Global Head, Partnerships and Innovative Finance of Vital Strategies, a global health organisation which partners with governments to design solutions to some of the world’s most challenging health problems.

As Managing Director, Singh will work to bring together public and private sectors to collaborate and develop novel models of financing mechanisms to support solutions to address key public health challenges.

Singh has three decades of diversified global experience serving Fortune 500 growth and early-stage business in India, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, and emerging markets. His expertise lies in strategy, consulting, mainstream and development finance, impact investing, innovative finance, and program management. Most recently he led USAID/India’s healthcare-focused program PAHAL (Partnership for Affordable Health Care Access and Longevity) from the idea stage to a flagship financing program. He also served as principal advisor for impact investments at IPE Global, a development consulting firm, and board member at Ajooni Impact Investments India. He has previously held senior management and board positions on public and private companies and has worked with leading investment and advisory firms in India and overseas. He is a qualified chartered accountant (FCA), trained with PwC, India certified information systems auditor (CISA, USA) and graduate in business studies, B. Com (Honors) from the prestigious Sri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi, India

In his new role as Managing Director India and Global Head, Partnerships and Innovative Finance, Singh will oversee the financial, human, and operational functions of the India office, provide thought leadership, ensure financial viability and overall sustainability of the organization, and co-create innovative solutions to India’s public health challenges. He will also focus on developing and sustaining partnerships with the government, the private sector, and the public sector to advance the mission of Vital Strategies.
