Brenntag Specialties, a global leader in chemicals and ingredients distribution, has been appointed the preferred European distributor for Kerry’s Niacet Pharma Acetates product range. This strategic agreement covers most of Europe, including Germany, France, Italy, the Nordic region, Poland, and Central and Eastern Europe, while excluding the UK, Ireland, and Iberia.

Through this collaboration, Brenntag Specialties will provide pharmaceutical manufacturers and biopharmaceutical companies with a reliable supply of high-purity, GMP-compliant acetates. Manufactured at Kerry’s GMP-certified facility in Tiel, Netherlands, these acetates—including Ammonium Acetate, Calcium Acetate, Potassium Acetate, Sodium Acetate Anhydrous, Sodium Acetate Trihydrate, and Sodium Diacetate—meet both European and US pharmacopeia standards.

These high-quality acetates are essential in pharmaceutical production, serving as raw materials, processing aids, or active pharmaceutical ingredients across a variety of applications, such as parenteral preparations, dialysis fluids, bioprocessing and cell culture, API synthesis, and ophthalmic formulations. Kerry also holds key regulatory approvals, including a US Drug Master File (DMF) for Calcium Acetate and a Certificate of Suitability (CEP) for Sodium Acetate Trihydrate.
