Cenmed, a leading provider of laboratory distribution and supply chain solutions, and Curavit Clinical Research, a virtual contract research organization specializing in decentralized clinical trials (DCTs), have announced a strategic partnership aimed at transforming clinical trial logistics.

The collaboration combines Cenmed’s expertise in customized kitting, inventory management, and distribution with Curavit’s participant-focused DCT model, ensuring study participants receive specimen collection kits and supplies reliably at home or local sites. The move is designed to simplify participation, reduce patient burden, and accelerate trial timelines.

“This collaboration turns kitting into a strategic advantage for sponsors and sites, shrinking start-up timelines, improving visibility of critical supplies, and delivering a better participant experience,” said Jacqueline Corprew of Cenmed. “With protocol-specific kits built at scale and shipped where and when they’re needed, sponsors can move faster with greater confidence.”

Curavit COO Jay Collier added, “Our decentralized model depends on seamless logistics. Partnering with Cenmed strengthens our ability to place the right kit in the right participant’s hands exactly when it’s needed, keeping studies on track, improving adherence, and preserving data integrity.”
