Kaisha Pharma has established Kaisha Pharma International in Italy as its global business development and customer support hub.

The move marks latest step in the company’s strategy to build an international pharmaceutical packaging business.

Based in Italy, Kaisha Pharma International will lead strategic customer outreach, market engagement and business development across overseas markets.

The entity will also be managing relationships and customer support for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies across the Americas, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Asia-Pacific and other international markets.

The company has appointed Andrea Zambon as Managing Director of Kaisha Pharma International and Global Head of International Business Development. Zambon brings international leadership experience in the pharmaceutical packaging and specialised drug delivery sectors.

In his new role, Zambon will oversee Kaisha Pharma’s global business development strategy, strengthen customer relationships, expand the company’s international presence and support its long-term growth plans.

“The establishment of Kaisha Pharma International marks another important milestone in our journey. When we launched Kaisha Pharma, our vision was clear: to build a truly Global pharmaceutical packaging company. Today’s announcement demonstrates that our commitment is already becoming a reality,” said Kairus Dadachanji, Managing Director, Kaisha Pharma.

Rishad Dadachanji, Director, Kaisha Pharma, said Italy was selected because of its position as a major pharmaceutical manufacturing and innovation centre.

“Establishing our global business development hub in the strategic location of Italy enables us to work even more closely with customers across the global pharmaceutical market while remaining responsive, accessible and internationally connected,” he said.

Commenting on Zambon’s appointment, Rishad Dadachanji said his international experience, strategic leadership and customer focus would support the company as it builds its global organisation.

Zambon said he was attracted by Kaisha Pharma’s ambition to play a role in shaping the future of pharmaceutical packaging.

“Supported by significant long-term investment, advanced technologies and a genuine commitment to customer partnership, the company has all the ingredients necessary to become a globally respected player,” he said.
