Ahmedabad-based Sakar Healthcare Limited has secured 14 new marketing approvals for oncology productsacross the European Union, the United Kingdom and Canada, marking another step in the company's international expansion strategy.

The approvals have been secured in partnership with seven global business partners, strengthening Sakar Healthcare's presence across key regulated markets and supporting both its technology-transfer and licensing businesses.

Among the key developments, Accord Healthcare, Sakar's technology-transfer partner, received approval for five additional product site variations from the European Medicines Agency (EMA). This takes the total number of approved technology transfers to six out of the eight initiatives undertaken at Sakar's manufacturing facility.

In addition, two partners in the UK and one partner in Germany received regulatory approvals for three products from the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and the EMA.

Sakar Healthcare also secured approvals for its own licensed-out portfolio, with six products receiving Marketing Authorizations. Of these, four were approved in the EU, while one each received approval in the UK and Canada.

The newly approved products cover a broad range of oncology indications, including cancers of the breast, lung, prostate, stomach, head and neck, colorectal, ovarian, liver, kidney and thyroid.

The portfolio also covers blood and bone-marrow cancers and lymphoma, expanding Sakar's reach across multiple oncology treatment areas.

The company said the latest regulatory approvals reinforce its position in the EU, UK and Canadian markets and are expected to support further growth across its manufacturing partnership and licensing models.
