Botanic Healthcare, a global leader in natural ingredients and nutraceutical innovation, has launched its dedicated Liposomal Manufacturing Facility in Hyderabad with an investment of over Rs. 25 crore. This expansion marks a significant milestone in advancing delivery technologies designed to enhance bioavailability and effectiveness across various health and wellness categories.

With a raw material capacity of over 8,500 metric tonnes annually, the LipsoBio facility will produce powdered liposomal vitamins and minerals, botanically enriched beadlets, and customized formulations. The unit incorporates Botanic Healthcare’s patent-filed DFS (Dietary Fiber Stabilized) Technology, which enables superior stability and consistent performance in liposomal formats.

This combination of cutting-edge technology and strict quality protocols ensures the company’s liposomal products meet international regulatory standards and deliver consistent performance for nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, cosmeceutical, and functional food applications.

“This facility is more than an expansion of capacity, it is a milestone in our journey to redefine how natural ingredients are delivered to consumers,” said Madhu Krishnamani, Founder and Managing Director, Botanic Healthcare. “By combining advanced science with our commitment to quality, LipsoBio® will enable partners to launch next-generation health solutions with clinically proven benefits.”

The new unit has already created over 50 high-value jobs across R&D, manufacturing, and quality operations, while also generating indirect opportunities for local suppliers and vendors.

The growing adoption of our liposomal solutions highlights the trust global partners place in our science-driven technologies and reinforces Botanic Healthcare’s leadership in advancing the future of nutraceutical innovation, said Dr. H. N. Shivaprasad, Chief Scientific Officer, Botanic Healthcare.

The facility has been designed with sustainability at its core, featuring energy-efficient systems, water recycling, and responsible waste management. Botanic Healthcare also prioritizes renewable energy integration and sustainable sourcing, ensuring growth aligns with environmental stewardship and social responsibility.
