HealthEdge, a U.S.-based software company, leading the industry with integrated financial, administrative, and clinical platforms for health insurers is opening a state-of-the-art facility in Pune.

“We are excited and proud to be opening a state-of-the-art facility in Pune,” said Shivi Mithal, HealthEdge Vice President and Head of the India Delivery Centre. “Setting up a HIPAA-compliant delivery centre allows us to provide broader services and support to our U.S.-based customers. This capability will optimise customer value and satisfaction.”

The Pune centre expands HealthEdge’s presence beyond Bangalore and Hyderabad. HealthEdge has a global footprint of more than 1,200 employees. The HealthEdge India operations centre will house multiple teams in a green-certified facility spanning 4,500 square feet. It will serve a thriving business developing next-generation solutions for health insurance plans.

As a portfolio company of Blackstone, HealthEdge is well-positioned for success in the U.S. healthcare ecosystem. HealthEdge acquired Burgess and Altruista in 2020.

“HealthEdge has tremendous momentum as an organization and is positioned to scale for growth,” said Steve Krupa, CEO of HealthEdge. “Our Pune centre aligns with our growth strategy and will be a hub for great tech talent, with the tools and technology to innovate and succeed together in a positive culture.”
