KIMS Hospitals (Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences), Bengaluru, is positioning itself at the forefront of neurological care.
The healthcare major has inaugurated its “Institute of Advanced Neurosciences”, aimed at delivering comprehensive, high-end care for complex neurological conditions including epilepsy, cerebrovascular disorders, neurointerventional cases, skull base conditions, and spine surgeries.
The launch event brought together a distinguished gathering of medical and academic leaders, including Prof. Jawahar Doreswamy, Chancellor, PES University; Dr. B. Bhaskar Rao, Chairman and Managing Director, KIMS Group of Hospitals; Dr. Nitish Shetty, Managing Director, KIMS Hospitals, Bengaluru; and senior clinicians and specialists from the hospital’s neuroscience team.
The newly established institute is equipped with advanced infrastructure designed to integrate multiple specialties under one roof. Facilities include neuro rehabilitation services, a neuro cath lab, EEG and ENMG laboratories, video EEG monitoring units, a virtual reality neurosurgery training lab, and state-of-the-art neurosurgical operating theatres.
With this expansion, KIMS Hospitals aims to address the rising burden of brain and spine disorders through a combination of technology, multidisciplinary expertise, and patient-centric treatment approaches.
