Dr. Lal PathLabs Limited has officially advanced its global expansion strategy by securing an 80% controlling stake in Ghana's Sunshine Healthcare Limited (SHL).

The transaction was executed via the Indian diagnostic chain's wholly owned, Dubai-based arm, Dr. Lal PathLabs FZCO, effectively transitioning the West African diagnostics provider into a step-down subsidiary of the parent company.

Finalised in full compliance with local Ghanaian regulatory frameworks, this move establishes a foundational gateway for the brand to capture operational efficiencies and scale its presence across the broader African diagnostic market.
