Masina Hospital has opened a new upgraded dialysis facility within the hospital premises.

At the facility, at any given point of time, 14 patients can undergo dialysis. Separate provision has also been made to attend to Sero Positive patients so that others are well protected from any infection.

This entire facility will now be managed directly by Masina Hospital’s own qualified team specially selected for competence and quality of services. The facility is compliant with the requisite AAMI (Assn. for advanced medical instrumentation), ISO and NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospital & Healthcare Providers) norms and is equipped with new modern equipment procured from well-established suppliers, with special attention for provision of technology superior Automatic Reverse Osmosis Plant.

Reverse osmosis plant is at the heart of any dialysis unit. The quality of dialysis is directly related to the purity of water available for the same. The availability of advanced SLED dialysis for critical patients, Plasmapheresis, CRRT machines along with ICCU dialysis complete the centre in every way.

Dr Vispi Jokhi, CEO, Masina Hospital said, “The need for the Renal Dialysis Centre with providing an economical range of services has escalated as the population of kidney disease patients is growing at an alarming rate in the city. The patient is expected to undergo dialysis 2-3 times a week, however, it is an expensive procedure that the underprivileged cannot afford. Our goal is to continually provide better services and to exceed all stakeholders' expectations. We endeavour to provide services at competitive pricing, and offer programmes and packages to help the underprivileged, in keeping with the hospital's mission to become the first choice for value and excellence in healthcare.”
