BPL Medical Technologies, the flagship medical equipment brand of the 50-year-old BPL Group, has partnered with Korea’s ALPINION Medical Systems to launch the X CUBE 50 ultrasound system in India, promising a leap in diagnostic precision and clinical efficiency.

Designed to tackle common challenges in routine diagnostics—uneven image quality, repeated manual adjustments, and clinician fatigue—the X CUBE 50 integrates ALPINION’s advanced X+ Architecture. With high-sensitivity transducers, refined beamforming, and intelligent image optimization, it delivers uniform, high-contrast images, enabling faster and more accurate diagnoses across multiple clinical applications.

Engineered for speed and ease of use, the system features a compact ergonomic design, a 21.5-inch Full HD monitor, and a 12.1-inch touchscreen. Workflow-enhancing tools such as X+ Assistant, Power Preset, and Xpeed streamline routine scans, while automated measurement features like Auto Biometry, Auto IMT, and Auto EF ensure consistent and reproducible results.

“Clinicians today need technology that enhances precision without slowing them down,” said Dr. Shravan Subramanyam, Managing Director of BPL Medical Technologies. “The X CUBE 50 empowers healthcare professionals with advanced imaging and intelligent tools, improving diagnostic clarity, speeding decision-making, and enhancing patient care.”

The launch marks a milestone in BPL’s mission to provide accessible, high-quality diagnostic solutions in India. By combining ALPINION’s cutting-edge imaging technology with BPL’s extensive service network, the X CUBE 50 offers medical practitioners a customizable, reliable, and cost-effective ultrasound solution that raises the standard of care across the country.
