Freudenberg Medical and Freudenberg Performance Materials present coating, sterile assembly, wound care and wearable healthcare solutions
Freudenberg Group is showcasing its expanding healthcare capabilities at Medical Fair India 2026, being held from 17–19 September in Mumbai. Through Freudenberg Medical and Freudenberg Performance Materials, the group is presenting solutions spanning medical device manufacturing, advanced wound care and wearable healthcare technologies.
Freudenberg Medical is highlighting two recently launched offerings for medical device and biopharmaceutical manufacturers: LUBRITEQ hydrophilic coating technology and CleanAssure sterile single-use assembly services.
LUBRITEQ is designed to provide lubricious coatings for catheter-based and minimally invasive medical devices, supporting smooth navigation, improved handling and coating durability. The platform includes a two-week feasibility turnaround, a royalty-free model and integrated development support aimed at helping manufacturers accelerate product development.
The company is also showcasing CleanAssure, an ISO Class 5 cleanroom service for the packaging of clean and sterile single-use assemblies. The service is intended to support biopharmaceutical manufacturing and critical healthcare applications by providing controlled assembly environments and helping customers streamline production processes.
“India's healthcare and medical technology sectors continue to grow rapidly, creating new opportunities for innovation and collaboration,” said Falgun Jani, Business Head India, Freudenberg Medical. “Medical Fair India provides an excellent platform to connect with customers and demonstrate how Freudenberg Medical's latest technologies and services can help address evolving manufacturing and clinical requirements.”
Freudenberg Performance Materials’ Healthcare Division is presenting its portfolio of materials for advanced wound care, stoma care and wearable medical devices. The offerings include superabsorbent nonwovens, hydrophilic polyurethane foams, activated carbon filters, nonwoven components for ostomy systems and high-performance backing materials for wearable healthcare products.
The division also provides material and product development capabilities extending from material innovation to finished wound dressing solutions.
The company’s participation follows its recent acquisition of Foshan United Medical Technologies Ltd., which strengthens its healthcare platform and expands its advanced wound care capabilities.
“By combining deep material science expertise with expanded healthcare capabilities, we are helping customers develop next-generation wound care and healthcare products,” said Dr. Oliver Heneric, SVP, Division Healthcare, Freudenberg Performance Materials.
