AI-enabled wearable remote patient monitoring platform successfully completed pilot deployments in a government super-specialty hospital and emergency ambulances
DeepFacts Private Limited’s proRITHM, a wireless, wearable AI-powered remote patient monitoring solution, has been recognised as one of the leading healthcare innovations under the Government of Andhra Pradesh’s MedTech Innovation Challenge, securing the second runner-up position in the Remote Care and Telemedicine category.
Launched in November 2025 by the Department of Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare, Government of Andhra Pradesh, in collaboration with the Andhra Pradesh Innovation Society (APIS) and the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub, the challenge aimed to identify and deploy transformative healthcare technologies capable of strengthening healthcare delivery across government hospitals in the state.
The challenge attracted 297 applications from innovators, researchers, startups, and medical technology companies from across India. Following a rigorous evaluation process, only 18 healthcare innovations were selected for pilot deployment in government healthcare settings, with proRITHM emerging among the top-performing solutions.
Developed by DeepFacts Private Limited, proRITHM is an advanced AI-enabled remote patient monitoring platform that facilitates continuous monitoring of patient vital parameters through a wireless wearable device. The platform is designed to improve patient surveillance, support timely clinical interventions, and enhance healthcare delivery in both hospital and remote care environments.
As part of the pilot programme, proRITHM was deployed at the Super Specialty Hospital (SSH), Anantapur, where it was used for continuous inpatient monitoring as well as outpatient screening across multiple specialties, including cardiology, neurology, gynaecology, and general medicine.
Vamsi Karatam, Founder and CEO of proRITHM, said, “Being selected among 18 innovators from nearly 300 applicants and successfully completing deployments in both hospital and emergency care settings is a strong validation of proRITHM’s clinical value."
"This recognition reinforces our commitment to leveraging AI and wearable technologies to make continuous patient monitoring more accessible, efficient, and scalable. We believe solutions like proRITHM can play a significant role in strengthening healthcare delivery across India's public health ecosystem," added Karatam.
