Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie company, has launched its newest AMI Training Center in Austin, Texas, marking the third US location opened in just the past year and reinforcing the company’s commitment to advancing aesthetics education.

Designed as a state-of-the-art, interactive learning hub, AMI Austin offers an immersive experience for healthcare professionals at all levels. The center combines rigorous scientific instruction with practical, hands-on training, equipping providers with the clinical, consultative, and business skills needed to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered care.

“The opening of AMI Austin represents another important milestone in our commitment to elevating aesthetics education standards,” said Glen Curran, Senior Vice President, US, Allergan Aesthetics. “By expanding into Austin, we're increasing access to robust training that supports excellence in patient care while delivering the education customers need to succeed.”

Under the leadership of Dr. Saami Khalifian, Double Board-Certified Dermatologist and Medical Director for the AMI Training Centers, the Austin facility will offer tailored learning opportunities focused on advanced injection techniques, complication management, and practice development.

Training spans Allergan Aesthetics’ full portfolio, including facial injectables, body contouring, skincare, and plastic and regenerative medicine, providing participants with skills, confidence, and peer connections to accelerate career and practice growth.

Insights from AMI Austin will also shape future center innovations, ensuring new locations are scalable, adaptable, and impactful for providers. The Austin site joins AMI Orange County in Irvine, California, and the recently opened AMI Atlanta, expanding the company’s growing US training network.
