Clariant showcases VitiPure portfolio at CPHI India

VitiPure serves as essential solubilizers, emulsifiers, and bioavailability enhancers in drug formulations

Clariant highlighted its extensive range of high-purity excipients and active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) at CPHI India 2025, showcasing its VitiPure product lines and other tailored solutions for the expanding Indian healthcare sector.

The company's VitiPure portfolio comprises pharmaceutical-grade excipients—including Polyethylene Glycols (PEGs) and Polysorbates—that serve as essential solubilizers, emulsifiers, and bioavailability enhancers in drug formulations. These products are noted for their low impurity and endotoxin levels, ensuring consistent quality across diverse applications, such as solid orals (using hot-melt extrusion), injectables, and topicals.

Lalit Kamble, Sales & Business Development Manager for Clariant APAC, noted the strategic importance of the region: “India is an interesting and important growing market for us and the excipient market is witnessing a growth trajectory.”

He emphasized the quality of their offerings, stating, "At Clariant, we are elevating pharmaceutical standards with Vitipure. Our high-purity PEGs and derivatives are engineered to ensure safer formulations, enhanced therapeutic reliability, and seamless global regulatory compliance.”

Kamble also highlighted that formulators are actively seeking improved purity, stability, and performance. Clariant addresses these demands with its VitiPure, Motusflex, and Polyglykol excipients.

He added, “Our portfolio – spanning VitiPure solubilizers and surfactants, Motusflex film-forming polymers, and Polyglykol pharma-grade PEGs — gives formulators the flexibility, control and confidence needed to design modern, high-performance drug products.”
