The webinar series will showcase next-gen imaging technologies, global expert insights, and hands-on sessions on microscopy innovations
DSS Imagetech, a leader in Molecular Diagnostics, Life Sciences, and Biotechnology, is commemorating World Microscopy Day by hosting a series of expert-led webinars beginning April 13, 2026.
The initiative, titled ‘Microscopy Month’, brings together researchers, scientists, and students to explore the latest advancements in imaging and microscopy technologies through knowledge sessions and competitions.
As part of the celebrations, DSS recently conducted a webinar introducing SLICE, a new standard in accessible light sheet imaging, for the Indian scientific community. The session featured Peter Lang, Head of Sales at MBF Bioscience, and Matty Fay, Product Manager for SLICE at MBF Bioscience. The experts provided insights into the platform, live demonstrations, system operations, and an interactive Q&A.
The upcoming webinar series will continue with a focus on next-generation imaging innovations.
On May 5, 2026, DSS will host Part I of a two-part session on nanoscale imaging technologies, followed by Part II on May 7, 2026, which will spotlight MINFLUX and other breakthroughs in super-resolution microscopy, including applications of Abberior technologies.
Further, on May 12, DSS will organise a session on high-speed multimodal confocal and super-resolution microscopy. The webinar will highlight advanced solutions from Evident Microscopy, including spinning confocal technology, optical reassignment (SoRa), and live cell super-resolution imaging—tools that are reshaping research and diagnostic capabilities.
The session will be led by Dr Ganesh Kadasoor, National Manager, Application Support at Olympus Medical Systems India Ltd, who brings over 15 years of experience in advanced imaging.
Speaking on the initiative, Ajay Kandhari, Managing Director, DSS Imagetech said, "Our company has played a pioneering role in bringing advanced microscopy solutions to India through global partnerships while building a strong domestic ecosystem. ‘Microscopy Month’ reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to advancing India’s scientific landscape by enabling learning, collaboration, and innovation among researchers and institutions."
