The CSR initiative will offer Digital Radiology X-Ray service to Dholera and 33 surrounding villages in the region
FUJIFILM India, a global leader in healthcare technology, has announced the inauguration of digital radiology X-Ray facility at Community Health Centre (CHC) in Dholera, Gujarat.
The CSR activity aims to provide accessible healthcare and advanced diagnostic services for the city’s growing industrial workforce and surrounding villages. The facility will serve as the first central DR X-ray hub in the region, addressing urgent healthcare gaps amid the rapid development of this flagship greenfield industrial city.
The CHC which will host the Fujifilm Medical Centre will provide DR X-ray services for faster diagnosis, along with early screening for tuberculosis with sputum collection, and regular health camps that bring preventive care closer to the community. By adding these services to Dholera’s growth as a smart city, FUJIFILM India is ensuring that access to basic healthcare keeps pace with the region’s rapid economic and industrial progress.
Speaking on the development, Koji Wada, Managing Director, FUJIFILM India, said, “At FUJIFILM India, our purpose goes beyond technology, we aim to create an impact that strengthens communities and supports national priorities. Dholera represents the future of India’s industrial growth, and we are proud to contribute by supporting the enhancement of basic public healthcare infrastructure. With this facility, we are making advanced diagnostics accessible where they are needed most, ensuring that workers, residents, and families have reliable support as the city grows into a global manufacturing hub.”
With this CSR initiative, FUJIFILM India reinforces its role as an enabler of health infrastructure, ensuring that the promise of smart cities and industrial corridors also delivers on the need for accessible and preventive healthcare.
