JHS Svendgaard Laboratories Ltd. (JHS), a leading Indian manufacturer of oral care products, is investing Rs. 25 crore to construct a new 100,000-square-foot manufacturing facility at its existing 5-acre site in Kala Amb, Himachal Pradesh.

Driven by customer Letters of Intent (LOI), this two-year expansion project aims for full operational status by 2027 and will integrate advanced technology to support specialized, high-growth product lines. This strategic move is designed to scale capacity and execute the company's long-term growth objectives within the oral care sector.

The company is constantly adding new products to its portfolio, like the latest Anchor free toothbrushes, dental floss sets, ultra-soft Butter on Gums toothbrushes, Gentle Giant, and Dynamic Luminance ranges. The enhanced facility is expected to generate an annual revenue of up to Rs. 100 crore upon reaching full utilisation and also to create approximately 500-600 new jobs in the region.

“This is a demand-driven and customer-focused investment, and our contribution to the Make in India initiative. By investing in this new infrastructure, we are aligning our capabilities with global demand for cutting-edge technologies. We want to position JHS as a one-stop solution for all oral care products for all brands across the globe,” said Nikhil Nanda, Founder and Managing Director, JHS Svendgaard.

JHS is the only Indian manufacturer to provide a full range of oral care products at one place.
