Specialty chemicals leader LANXESS is set to showcase its Rely+On infection control portfolio at Medica 2025, the world’s largest medical trade fair, taking place from November 17 to 20.

Marking its first appearance at the event, the company will highlight its science-backed disinfectants and active ingredients designed to combat antimicrobial resistance, support rapid emergency response, and strengthen infection prevention across healthcare and institutional settings worldwide.

LANXESS will highlight its commitment to combatting antimicrobial resistance by presenting science-based disinfection solutions, including Rely+On Virkon, a globally recognized broad-spectrum disinfectant used in hospitals, medical laboratories, and public health facilities, and Rely+On PeraSafe, a leading product for the safe and rapid decontamination of medical instruments.

Both products meet rigorous international standards and have demonstrated effective performance within EN efficacy testing standards, with Rely+On particularly suited for use in emergency outbreak scenarios involving SARS-CoV-2, avian influenza, norovirus, and other emerging pathogens, the company said in a release.

Alongside LANXESS will be presenting innovative, powerful active ingredients for formulators, such as Oxone (potassium monopersulfate), synthetic phenolic compounds, and aldehyde-based antimicrobials to ensure proven effectiveness and user safety. These products are designed for quick deployment to support decontamination needs in healthcare, veterinary, and transport settings.
