As part of its ongoing commitment to support the affected families in the Pashamylaram unit, Hyderabad, Sigachi Industries has initiated the disbursal of interim compensation under the ex-gratia financial support package for the families of the deceased.

To date, Rs. 10 lakh each has been disbursed to fifteen families in the presence of Deputy Commissioner of Labor, Telangana. The remaining will be disbursed in a phased and structured manner, in consultation with district authorities and families. A detailed payment schedule is currently being finalised and will be shared in due course, following a thorough verification process.

The company has started making payments towards financial compensation and medical assistance for those affected by the incident. This includes Rs. 10 lakh each to 15 families out of 46 families as death compensation and Rs. 15 lakh each to the families of 8 team members who remain unaccounted, totaling Rs. 5.80 crore. Injury compensation of Rs.1 lakh each has been extended to 25 employees. Additionally, the company has ensured that all hospitalisation, critical care, and medical expenses are being fully taken care of, reaffirming its commitment to the well-being of the injured.

At present, only three individuals remain under medical care, and Sigachi continues to extend full support to them and their families.

In parallel, Sigachi has constituted an internal task force to oversee relief, compliance, and operational follow-ups. The Company is also actively cooperating with an external safety review committee, whose report is awaited, to strengthen safety protocols across all facilities.
