Thyrocare opens regional processing lab in Ahmedabad

New Regional Processing Lab will serve Ahmedabad and the state of Gujarat

Thyrocare, one of the leading healthcare service providers in the diagnostic segment, today opened its Regional Processing Lab (RPL) in Ahmedabad, India's first World Heritage City. The lab located at Commerce Six Complex, Navrangpura is Thyrocare’s 18th RPL in the country and augments its network of regional reference labs providing high volume routine and specialty testing to diagnostic centres and other healthcare facilities like nursing homes and hospitals. The RPL is equipped with 24/7 unidirectional sample processing systems and an automated effluent treatment plant for the safe disposal of biomedical wastes with best in class processing for a wide variety of tests.

The Regional Processing Lab was inaugurated by Dr Dilip Gadhavi, President, Ahmedabad Medical Association.

The new Regional Processing Lab at Ahmedabad is spread over an area of 3000 sq feet and has a capacity to process 3000 samples in a day. With advanced 24/7 unidirectional sample processing systems and automatic treatment plants, the Regional Processing Lab is equipped to perform an extensive variety of tests with automated technologies such as Photometry, Haematology, Immunoassay and HPLC as well as manual Urology and ELISA.
