Archana Subramanya has been appointed as Head - R&D India Hub at Sanofi, bringing more than 25 years of leadership experience in global drug development, regulatory affairs, clinical development, clinical project management, and clinical data management.

In her new role, she will lead Sanofi's R&D Hyderabad Hub, oversee the establishment of team structures and operational frameworks, and drive operational excellence, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder engagement across the company's global R&D organisation.

Before joining Sanofi, Subramanya served as Head of Global Regulatory Centers at GSK, where she led and expanded global capability centres across India, Poland, Egypt, and Mexico. 

During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in strengthening regulatory operations, driving enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, and building high-performing global teams.

Her appointment underscores Sanofi's continued focus on strengthening its global R&D capabilities in India by investing in experienced leadership, operational excellence, and innovation.
