Atul Ltd. has appointed Rangaswamy Iyer as an Independent Director from May 1, 2023. Iyer has almost 4 decades of experience in Pharmaceuticals, Biologicals, Animal Health, Consumer Healthcare and strategic merger and acquisition (M&A).

He was Chief Financial Officer and Finance Director of Cyanamid India and then he transitioned to Wyeth Ltd and rose to become the Managing Director of Wyeth Ltd.

Iyer has been in consulting role in life sciences and has been a leading voice of the industry. He is an Advisor and Consultant to multinational and Indian pharma companies, private equity firms and investment bankers in areas of business strategy and business development (organic and inorganic). Currently he is senior advisor to LincoIn International, USA, an investment banker. He has to his credit several alliances and M&A deals which he spearheaded.

Iyer holds postgraduate degree in Commerce and is an MBA in Finance from the University of Mumbai.
