Akshar Awalgaonkar has been appointed as Chief Procurement Officer at GE HealthCare, where he will lead the company's global procurement strategy, with a focus on driving operational excellence, strengthening supply chain resilience, and creating strategic value across the enterprise. 

Before joining GE HealthCare, Akshar served as Group Vice President & Chief Procurement Officer at Avery Dennison. 

Over the course of his career, he has held senior procurement and sourcing leadership positions at GE, AbbVie, Walgreens, Whirlpool Corporation, and Bosch, gaining extensive experience in global procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain transformation, and commercial operations. 

His cross-industry expertise positions him to further strengthen GE HealthCare's procurement capabilities and support its long-term growth strategy.
