Shashi Kant Tiwari has been appointed as Head – R&D (API) at Aarti Pharmalabs Ltd. (APL). With more than two decades of experience in API research and development, process chemistry, and pharmaceutical innovation, he will lead the company's API R&D initiatives and strengthen its innovation capabilities.

Before joining Aarti Pharmalabs, Dr. Tiwari held senior leadership positions across the pharmaceutical industry, including Assistant Vice President (Head CRD-API) and Head CRD-API (Senior General Manager) at Synthimed Labs Private Limited, Head-CRD (GM) at Ind-Swift Laboratories Ltd., and Principal Scientist-1/GM-1 at Aurobindo Pharma

Prior top that he was Senior Group Leader at Piramal Group, Principal Scientist at Sai Life Sciences Ltd., Group Leader at Acoris Research Ltd. (a Hikal Group company), Principal Scientist and Group Leader at Jubilant Chemsys Limited, Senior Research Scientist at Chembiotech Laboratories Ltd., Associate Scientific Manager at Syngene International Limited, Postdoctoral Fellow at RWTH Aachen University, Germany, and Research Fellow (Ph.D.) at the National Chemical Laboratory.

His extensive expertise in API process development, scientific leadership, and pharmaceutical innovation is expected to support Aarti Pharmalabs' efforts to expand its research capabilities and accelerate the development of high-quality active pharmaceutical ingredients.
