Sunil Kumar has been elevated to Chief Operations Officer (COO) at Jubilant HollisterStier Allergy, where he will focus on strengthening the company’s operations platform to scale capabilities and support the accelerating growth of its allergy business.

In his new role, Kumar will work towards enhancing operational resilience and execution while remaining focused on improving the quality of life of the patients and people served by the company.

Kumar is a business transformation leader with more than two decades of experience across multiple industries and geographies. His career includes leadership and transformation roles at Jubilant and Cipla, along with professional stints at Sanofi, Zydus and Flex. He has led high-impact global projects across continents, delivering sustainable savings running into millions of dollars.

During his tenure at Cipla, Kumar was recognised as a Lighthouse Champion and Project Leader for spearheading a World Economic Forum-accredited Advanced Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) Lighthouse.

His experience includes implementing large-scale 4IR use cases, technology upgrades, data and technology-layer development, and building digital and analytics capabilities.

Kumar is also an internal C-suite consultant with expertise in project management, people management and change management in complex and high-stakes environments. A certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, he has coached and developed more than 200 Green Belts to drive sustainable operational improvements.

His recognitions include the Best Manufacturing Leader of the Year award from UBS Forums in 2022, the DX Leader Award from Elets CIO, Cipla’s Lighthouse Champion & Project Leader Award, and recognition for quality culture transformation and operations excellence. He also received the Global LEAN Project of the Year Award at Flex’s Global Lean Competition in 2010.
