Center of Excellence for Molecular Diagnostics and Proteomics will enable affordable diagnostics for infectious diseases in India
The initiative will create an integrated network of Critical Care Units (CCUs) across the Apollo Hospitals network but also in partnership with non-Apollo units in India and overseas
Products manufactured at the new Vaughan facility will support research in areas including cancer, infectious disease, mental health, and environmental safety
It will focus on interface between API and formulation manufacturing, reducing carbon footprint in formulation production, creating intellectual property, training next-generation scientists, and setting new industry benchmarks
The facility will be positioned as a Centre of Excellence for tertiary care services
Aims to support healthcare practitioners with evidence-based cough categorization tools that enable choosing the right molecules for effective & targeted relief from cough
Notably, 36 female students have been placed in Production and Manufacturing roles, reflecting the growing representation of women in core biotech operations
The Union Budget 2025-26 strengthens India's healthcare sector with an allocation of Rs. 99,858.56 crore, marking a 9.78% rise from Rs. 90,958.63 crore in 2024-25
