Center of Excellence for Molecular Diagnostics and Proteomics will enable affordable diagnostics for infectious diseases in India
The initiative will create an integrated network of Critical Care Units (CCUs) across the Apollo Hospitals network but also in partnership with non-Apollo units in India and overseas
The facility is dedicated to breakthrough innovations in laboratory instruments that detect infectious diseases, cancer, and blood disorders
The collaboration will focus on enhancing surgeon capabilities, developing structured training pathways, and promoting the adoption of robotic-assisted surgery in both routine and complex procedures
Prior to this appointment, he served as Vice-Chancellor of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurved University, Jodhpur,
Products manufactured at the new Vaughan facility will support research in areas including cancer, infectious disease, mental health, and environmental safety
It will focus on interface between API and formulation manufacturing, reducing carbon footprint in formulation production, creating intellectual property, training next-generation scientists, and setting new industry benchmarks
The facility will be positioned as a Centre of Excellence for tertiary care services
