Ayu Health acquires SwasthyaSewak Hospitals in Jaipur

Through this acquisition, Ayu Health will add 1000 beds to provide localised primary and tertiary medical care for citizens of Jaipur

Ayu Health Hospitals, a growing network of over 40 hospitals has acquired Jaipur-based SwasthyaSewak thereby adding 16 more hospitals to its fold.

Ayu Health currently manages over 2500 beds across over 50 hospitals in Bengaluru and Chandigarh. The company which was established in 2019, co-founded by Karan Gupta, Arjit Gupta, and Himesh Joshi is fast growing its network to take quality healthcare to the masses through standardisation of healthcare services. Buoyed by the growing demand for quality health care facilities in closer proximities, Ayu Health is expanding into underserved markets, the company said in a release.

SwasthyaSewak, founded in 2017 by Yashu Kapoor, operates a network of over 16 hospitals in Jaipur. The startup has served over 1 lakh patients since inception. Through this acquisition, Ayu Health will add 1000 beds to provide localised primary and tertiary medical care for citizens of Jaipur. This apart, the Founder of SwasthyaSewak, Yashu Kapoor has joined Ayu Health in the capacity of Head of Growth and will be based out of Delhi NCR.

Ayu Health has recently raised their Series-A funding of US $ 6.3 million from Vertex Ventures and Stellaris Venture Partners in September 2021. With the addition of 5,000 plus beds in multiple locations across India, the organization is expected to grow the business by 10 times in FY2022, the release added.
