Bengaluru-based healthcare startup Praan Health has launched its first integrated clinic, “The Fifty+ Clinic,” in Koramangala, Bengaluru, marking its shift from an at-home chronic care provider to a full-stack healthcare network for adults aged 50 and above.

 

The new centre combines physician-led care, diagnostics, pain management, physiotherapy, rehabilitation and supervised strength training with a digital platform designed to keep patients and their families connected throughout the care journey.

 

The launch comes at a time when India’s ageing population is accelerating. The country currently has approximately 140 million people aged 50 and above, a number expected to rise sharply in the coming decades. 

 

With chronic conditions emerging nearly a decade earlier in India compared with Western populations, Praan Health says preventive and continuous care has become increasingly critical from the age of 50.

 

Unlike traditional healthcare models that treat individual symptoms or isolated diagnoses, Praan Health’s approach focuses on the overall ability of individuals to remain mobile, independent and active. The clinic brings together physicians, physiotherapists, nutritionists and strength specialists to address pain, mobility, metabolic health and long-term wellbeing.

A key focus of Praan Health’s platform is supporting long-distance caregiving. As younger Indians increasingly relocate to other cities or countries for work, parents and their families often manage healthcare from different locations.

 

With patient consent, family members can stay connected to consultations, care plans and progress updates through Praan Health’s digital platform. The model aims to provide parents with consistent clinical support while giving their children greater visibility into the care journey.

 

Members receive personalised care plans covering clinical interventions, nutrition, mobility and strength training. Progress is measured not only through health indicators but also through practical outcomes such as reduced pain, improved mobility and greater independence in daily activities.

 

The Bengaluru centre builds on Praan Health’s existing home-care operations, through which the company has supported more than 10,000 adults aged 50 and above across 13+ cities through more than 350,000 personalised sessions.

 

The new clinic will serve as the clinical anchor of Praan Health’s broader model, allowing members to access consultations, assessments, diagnostics and specialised interventions at the centre while continuing prescribed physiotherapy, nutrition and strength programmes at home.

 

The company plans to expand the model to Mumbai, Hyderabad and Delhi as part of its proposed presence across major Indian cities by 2028.

 

Praan Health raised Rs. 8.5 crore in seed funding in November 2025 in a round led by Rainmatter Investments, with participation from WEH Ventures and angel investors. The funding is being used to strengthen its clinical capabilities, technology platform and physical care network.
