Fischer Medical Ventures Ltd (formerly known as Fischer Chemic Limited) with its wholly owned subsidiary – Time Medical International Ventures (India), a leading force in India's healthcare technology sector and BluSim Tech Pte Ltd., a pioneer in real-time monitoring solutions for elderly care, have announced a groundbreaking partnership aimed at revolutionizing nursing home care globally.

Fischer Medical Ventures Ltd. (Fischer MVL), renowned for being the first company through its wholly owned subsidiary Time Medical International Ventures (India) to indigenously manufacture advanced high quality, cost-efficient Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) systems in India, continues to spearhead innovation in the MedTech industry.

Apart from medical imaging, Fischer MVL strategically invest into a portfolio of high-tech diagnostic solutions. This strategic collaboration with BluSim Tech marks a significant milestone in Fischer MVL's journey towards expanding its healthcare portfolio and enhancing its offerings in medical imaging and diagnostics solutions, aiming to redefine healthcare through advanced technologies and unparalleled expertise.

BluSim Tech is a pioneering health-tech company based in Singapore, dedicated to transform the elder care industry. Their technology, Ballistocardiography, is a non-invasive method based on the measurement of the body motion generated by the ejection of the blood at each cardiac cycle. Their product, BluSim Mat, powered by advanced algorithms and AI, enables continuous and contactless vital monitoring, including heart rate, respiration rate, sleep pattern, bed position, and presence monitoring, all without wearable devices.

By converting micro vibrations into meaningful biomarkers, BluSim Tech's solution provides real-time monitoring of patient vitals and detect early warning for potential health issues. Unlike traditional monitors that require multiple sensors attached to the body, BluSim Mat is a completely contactless solution, eliminating discomfort and inconvenience. The solutions also integrate external sensors for additional parameters like blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) and body temperature.

According to the WHO, the senior population in emerging nations is expected to reach about 1 billion by 2050, resulting in a high demand for elder care services. The global long term elder care market size was accounted at US$1.03 trillion in 2022 and is projected to reach over US$1.92 trillion by 2032 (source: www.precedenceresearch.com). Global market is facing significant challenges posed by an ageing population, creating a big demand fo continuous, non-intrusive health monitoring to manage chronic conditions and age-related health issues. This growing market encompasses nursing homes, hospitals, and home care environments, offering significant opportunities for BluSim Tech to provide their real-time health monitoring solutions that improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.

Ravindran Govindan, Chairman & Managing Director of Fischer Medical Ventures Ltd., expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, "We are thrilled to hold the exclusive & global rights to market and distribute BluSim Tech products in this huge and growing elder care sector. This strategic partnership marks a new era in healthcare technology, driving innovation and advancing the future of elderly care, where we endeavour to deliver unparalleled value to nursing homes across India and beyond."

Dr Gokul M Chinnappan, CEO of BluSim Tech Pte Ltd, emphasized the transformative potential of their flagship product, stating, "Our vision is to revolutionize healthcare by developing cutting-edge technologies that prioritize patient well-being and enhance the quality of care. Through our partnership with Fischer MVL, we have more resources to expand our offerings and making our solutions accessible to more healthcare facilities."
