ShardaCare – Healthcity has collaborated with Laxmi Taru Foundation as the healthcare partner for one of India's largest voluntary blood donation drives, held in Rohini, New Delhi.

The mega initiative witnessed participation from around 10,000 people and resulted in the collection of more than 3,000 units of blood, making it one of the country's largest community-led voluntary blood donation campaigns. 

Around 250 NGOs and organisations, including Thalassemics India, Rotary Club, Lions Club and DATRI Foundation, supported the initiative.

Large-scale donation initiatives such as these help ensure that hospitals are adequately prepared to support emergencies and provide timely care to patients requiring life-saving transfusions.”

A strong culture of voluntary blood donation directly translates into better outcomes and renewed hope for these patients and their families.”

As part of the campaign, ShardaCare – Healthcity distributed complimentary ISI-marked helmets to every voluntary blood donor, promoting road safety alongside voluntary blood donation and reinforcing its focus on preventive healthcare and community well-being.
