Supreem Pharma launches its superfoods division

It has planned an investment of over Rs 80 crore in the next five years

Supreem Pharmaceuticals Mysore announced the launch of Supreem Super Foods, a healthy superfoods brand made from natural ingredients and the aim is to boost healthy lifestyle choices amongst Indians.

The company plans to invest over Rs 80 crore in the next five years as the demand for nutraceuticals continues to grow in India.

The Indian nutraceuticals market accounts for about 2% of the global nutraceuticals market. This market is growing fast at a CAGR of 15.8%. It is projected that the Indian nutraceuticals market will reach Rs 1.54 lakh crore by 2025.

At the launch, S.N. Rao, Chairman & MD of Supreem unveiled 19 products for Health Management, Performance Beverages & Foods along with Lifestyle Management Products.

Speaking at the launch, Rao said, “Healthy living is the need of the hour. Everything we do is motivated by our desire to be healthy and happy. There can be no substitute for this. Supreem Super Foods is on a mission to raise the bar for healthy living by combining innovation, experience, and vision. We have developed & are further researching smart, sustainable superfoods. These products will not only enhance our diet but help people realize their full potential. Living Healthy is essential and this can be ensured by optimal physical, mental, and healthy food habits."

Supreem Pharmaceuticals Mysore has achieved a turnover of Rs. 68 crores in the last financial year. In FY22, with the launch of the consumer products division Supreem Super Foods the company hopes to achieve a combined turnover of around Rs. 90-100 crore.
