Heartnet India, an IoT-based cardiac care solutions provider, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IIT Jodhpur Technology Park aimed at fostering collaboration between academia and industry to drive innovation in the healthcare and MedTech ecosystem.

The partnership will draw on the strengths of both organisations across four key areas: AI-powered healthcare solutions, medical devices and diagnostics, point-of-care technologies, and next-generation MedTech innovations. 

It is designed to connect academic and research work at IIT Jodhpur with Heartnet India's industry expertise, helping move research and ideas out of the lab and into practical, real-world applications.

The collaboration comes as healthcare delivery increasingly relies on artificial intelligence, connected technology, medical devices and data-driven decision-making. 

The partnership aims to serve as a platform for research that tackles healthcare challenges from both a technology and implementation perspective.

Arindam Sen, Founder of Heartnet India, said healthcare innovation carries the most weight when research and technology move beyond the laboratory to address problems patients and healthcare professionals genuinely face. 

He noted that the collaboration gives Heartnet India closer access to an academic and research ecosystem while allowing it to contribute its own understanding of healthcare delivery, adding that the company looks forward to exploring practical applications across AI, diagnostics, medical devices and MedTech that create measurable value in healthcare.

 Ahead of the MoU, IIT Jodhpur's School of Management and Entrepreneurship (SME) hosted Sen as part of its "Visionary Voices" leadership series. 

The session covered the evolving cardiac healthcare landscape, the role of technology in improving access to care, and the importance of data-driven decision-making in identifying gaps in the healthcare system.
