The acquired facility includes land, buildings, plant, and machinery optimized for producing APIs and intermediates
Anuh Pharma Limited has signed a definitive Asset Transfer Agreement to acquire the manufacturing facility of Vanquest Pharma Private Limited for Rs. 72.90 crore (excluding applicable taxes and fees). The all-cash transaction allows Anuh Pharma to expand its manufacturing footprint without issuing any equity shares.
Located at the established pharmaceutical hub in Tarapur, Boisar, Palghar, Maharashtra, the acquired facility includes land, buildings, plant, and machinery optimized for producing Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and intermediates. The acquisition is strategically positioned to boost Anuh Pharma’s production capacity by 525 MTPA (Metric Tonnes Per Annum), marking a significant scale-up for its core API segment.
By opting to buy an existing, operational facility rather than building a greenfield site, Anuh Pharma accelerates its time-to-market and enhances its regional market presence. To fund this capital expenditure and broader asset expansion, the company's board previously approved securing a debt financing loan of up to Rs. 75 crore.
