BC Jindal Foundation, the CSR arm of the BC Jindal Group, will more than double its healthcare investment to Rs 16 crore in FY 2026–27, up from Rs 7 crore in FY26, to improve healthcare accessibility and affordability across underserved regions in India.

The enhanced allocation will be directed toward expanding healthcare infrastructure, increasing patient capacity, and widening access to highly subsidized dialysis services and specialized diagnostics in high-need geographies.

Over the last five years, the Foundation’s healthcare network has reached more than 6 lakh beneficiaries, including 1.60 lakh people in FY26 alone. Its clinical services span general medicine, nephrology, gynaecology, ophthalmology, paediatrics, dental care, and physiotherapy, supported by dialysis, X-ray, ultrasound, and pathology units. Alongside medical services, the BCJF Skill programme continues to train youth as general duty assistants and phlebotomy assistants, linking healthcare delivery with livelihood creation.

Internal impact studies cited by the Foundation indicate strong community dependence on these centres. In Derang Village, Odisha, 64% of respondents identified BCJF facilities as their preferred healthcare provider. In Belur, West Bengal, 82% of visitors preferred the BCJ Health Centre, while 96.9% reported reduced healthcare spending and 56.6% noted major health improvements. Similar assessments from its Civil Lines, Delhi flagship centre showed rising patient footfall, with 82% of beneficiaries reporting better health outcomes and 96% affirming affordability.

“Approximately 70% of India’s population resides in areas where infrastructure gaps and rising costs often hinder access to quality medical care. The BC Jindal Foundation (BCJF) is directly addressing these challenges by expanding a robust healthcare ecosystem for underserved communities. By providing high-quality medical services at minimal cost, the Foundation ensures that quality treatment remains a fundamental right rather than a privilege for both urban and rural populations,” said a BC Jindal Group spokesperson.

Over the past five years, the Group has invested around Rs 23 crore in healthcare-focused CSR initiatives through the Foundation.

“The Foundation’s integrated model combines clinical excellence with aggressive community outreach, including awareness sessions and specialized screening camps for early disease detection, deeply aligning with Sustainable Development Goals for health, education, and economic growth,” the spokesperson added.

In FY26, the BC Jindal Group deployed Rs 40 crore across multiple CSR initiatives nationwide, spanning healthcare, skill development, animal welfare, and nutrition.

The group plans to deepen its CSR footprint further across Delhi, West Bengal, Haryana, Maharashtra and other states through both expansion of existing programmes and the launch of new projects.
