Mankind Pharma has entered into a strategic collaboration with Denovo Sciences to launch an AI-driven drug discovery programme, reinforcing its commitment to innovation-led and technology-enabled pharmaceutical research.

The partnership combines Mankind Pharma’s R&D, experimental validation, and clinical development capabilities with Denovo Sciences’ proprietary AI platform for molecular generation and prioritization. Operating under a human-in-the-loop model, artificial intelligence will generate and evaluate molecular candidates while scientists validate and refine them throughout the discovery process.

The collaboration aims to shorten early drug discovery timelines, improve the quality of lead candidates, and increase the likelihood of clinical success by enabling better decision-making in the earliest stages of research.

Arjun Juneja, COO of Mankind Pharma, said the partnership would help make drug discovery faster and more precise while ensuring scientific rigor remains central to the process. Dr. Anil Koul, Group Chief Scientific Officer, added that AI technologies such as generative chemistry and modular antibody design are transforming pharmaceutical R&D and will strengthen Mankind’s position as an innovation-focused drug company.

Hovakim Zakaryan, CEO of Denovo Sciences, said the collaboration combines the company's AI platform with Mankind Pharma’s deep scientific expertise to accelerate the identification of promising drug candidates.

The alliance marks a significant step in Mankind Pharma’s evolution towards AI-enabled drug development while advancing Denovo Sciences’ mission of translating artificial intelligence into better medicines for patients.
