The Board of Directors of Aster DM Healthcare has approved the appointment of Dr. Nitish Shetty as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Aster DM Healthcare Ltd - India (not in the capacity of KMP) with effect from March 16, 2023.

Dr. Shetty who has been in leadership positions across various healthcare organizations joined Aster as CEO of Aster CMI Hospital, Bengaluru in 2014. He was later promoted as the Regional Director, Aster Hospitals (Karnataka and Maharashtra cluster) & Aster Labs. Based on the recommendations of the NRC and the Board of Directors he is now being elevated to the role of CEO of Aster DM Healthcare Ltd - India.

His leadership portfolio includes managing a wide spectrum of financial and non-financial parameters to secure business excellence and a sound work culture within the organization. He is Proficient in overseeing and leading teams for running successful business operations and sets unparalleled benchmarks for clinical and customer excellence. His tried and proven business and people strategies have successfully fuelled and accelerated growth within the organization.

He had joined Aster CMI hospital as a CEO in November 2014 and was later promoted as Regional Director of the Karnataka & Maharashtra cluster in October 2021

He is a strong healthcare services professional with an M.D in Hospital Administration from KMC Manipal and MBBS from M.R Medical College.
