Zeon Lifesciences’ free primary healthcare clinic at Village Kunja, Paonta Sahib, Himachal Pradesh marks over a decade of community care in Paonta Sahib, having provided more than 90,000 free medical consultations and essential medicines to surrounding communities.

Suresh Garg, Founder and Managing Director, Zeon Lifesciences, emphasised that healthcare should never be a privilege. Speaking about the initiative, he said, "For more than a decade, this initiative has reflected our belief that quality primary healthcare should remain accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial circumstances.”

“Zeon invested over Rs. 11 lakh annually to ensure that consultations, healthcare professionals, and essential medicines remain completely free for the community. The continued trust people have placed in this clinic reinforces our commitment to improving healthcare access at the grassroots level,” added Garg.

Led by Dr. Parvesh K. Sablok, the clinic provides primary healthcare services to all members of the community without any demographic or regional restrictions. 

Dr. Sablok commented: "Having a free primary healthcare facility within the community encourages people to seek medical attention earlier, helping prevent minor illnesses from becoming more serious.”

“We primarily treat common illnesses including fever, body ache, cold and cough, sore throat, toothache and gastritis, along with dermatological conditions such as dermatitis, fungal infections and scabies,” added Dr. Sablok.

The clinic operates on a monthly expenditure of approximately Rs. 95,000, covering medical consultations, healthcare personnel and free medicines, with the average medicine cost remaining around Rs. 60 per patient. 

Patients requiring investigations are directed to the cheapest available Medical Labs and patients requiring Specialist consultation and referred to the hospitals having such facilities. Needy patients are also helped financially to get treated at higher centers."
