Godavari Biorefineries wins Mexican patent for antiviral treatment compounds

Godavari Biorefineries Limited has received official approval from the Mexican Patent Office (Instituto Mexicano de la Propiedad Industrial - IMPI) for its patent application covering innovative medical treatments for viral infections.

The granted patent, titled "Use of Compounds for Treating Viral Infections” focuses on proprietary chemical compounds designed to inhibit Vacuolar-type ATPase (V-ATPase) activity within host cells. By targeting cellular V-ATPase enzymes, the technology provides a therapeutic mechanism for the formulation and industrial manufacture of novel antiviral medications.

This international patent grant strengthens the company's global intellectual property (IP) portfolio and highlights its ongoing research and development capabilities in biochemical and pharmaceutical solutions targeting infectious diseases.
